This special production proudly supports Team for Kids, whose mission is to break down barriers and help the next generation grow stronger through movement, mentorship, and community.

AUDITION INFORMATION
HOW TO AUDITION
We are seeking diverse artists to be featured in our newest cabaret production. All individuals must either audition in person or submit a digital audition to be considered for casting.
Age Range: 8 years old through adult
Clearances Required: All cast members (including adults) will be required to provide current clearances, due to the inclusion of minors in the cast.
Casting Goal: We aim to cast approximately 6 performers ages 8–15, and 14 performers ages 16+
This production will feature both singing and dancing. Auditions will be split into two sections: a singing portion and a dance portion. Please wear clothing and shoes you can move comfortably in.
AUDITION DATE AND TIME
August 9th
12:00–2:00 PM group: Singing first, followed by dance instruction from 1:30–2:00 PM
2:00–4:00 PM group: Singing first, followed by dance instruction from 3:30–4:00 PM
IMPORTANT DATES
August 9th: Auditions 12-2pm and 2-4pm
Sept 18th: Dress rehearsal
Sept. 19th and 20th: Performances at 7pm
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
There will be minimal rehearsal needed to prepare for the production. Including dress rehearsal, we are hoping to have 3 rehearsals in total. More will be added if needed.
WHAT TO BRING TO AUDITIONS
Prepare one song from our provided list. This selection may be your intended performance piece. If you’d like to audition with a different song that aligns with the theme, please email us at production@paplayhouse.org for approval.
Be ready to indicate your top three song choices when filling out the audition form. Your audition cut should be 16–32 bars. You may be asked to sing more if needed.
Please complete the digital audition form in advance. If you are unable to do so, the form will be available on audition day.
DIGITAL AUDITIONS
For digital auditions, we ask that those auditioning please provide a longer cut of your audition. We are looking for 32-48 bars in length.
Please submit your audition tape to production@paplayhouse.org by 8pm on August 9th.
