This Season the Pennsylvania Playhouse has solicited directors for their picks of what they would like to see on our stage for the 2013 Season.  The understanding was that if their show was chosen they would direct it.  We have had an outpouring of submissions and when the dust settled, so to speak, we present the following Director's Cut Season for your enjoyment!

The Clean House tells the story of Charles (a doctor), Lane (his wife), Virginia (her sister), and Ana (the woman he loves).  At the center of the story is Matilde, a Brazilian maid and aspiring comedian who helps these characters navigate the waters of love, hope, loss, friendship, and laughter.  Written by two-time Pulitzer nominee Sarah Ruhl, this play was up for the prestigious award in 2005.
